Election

I am the pro-principal of my club with an election. When my members called out the name selected in a ballot, I thought to myself it was so surprising. I didn't know that my members would be behind me. I was happy. I hope that I will be suitable for this position.

Hi, this is the last post for the first blog period; I see you have only 13 entries for this period! Further, some are these "scatter posts." Please try to post often, not in bulk.
I'm not sure what the "pro-principal" does but congratulations. Names are personal, so use the personal pronoun for yours: "my name".
In the last sentence, you should use simple present tense, because you're describing your suitability, a condition or characteristic. "will be" would be suitable if you are saying, " I hope I will be able to handle my duties in this position" since the handling is in the future.
